Since 1996, Sequoyah Enterprises Inc. has provided care and therapeutic services to children in state custody, young people in juvenile detention, and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities.  SEI provides these services through contracts with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and several tribal nations in Oklahoma. 

In January 2023, SEI was purchased by Jim and Sheree Powell.  Since that time, the Powells have brought their more than 50 years of combined experiences in state government and provider services to their leadership of SEI.
